How to add a Slack notification
Slack link creation
- Connect to Slack and create a channel where you want to receive Shwett alerts :
- Once the channel has been created, click on the button on the left Add apps then on App Directory button on the right :
- In the new window, click on Build button at the top right :
- In the popup, click From scratch :
- Fill in the App name and choose your workspace :
- In the next page, choose Incoming Webhooks feature :
- Activate the webhook by clicking the button at the right :
- At the bottom of the page, click on Add New Webhokk to Workspace :
- Then choose the channel created in step 1 then click on Allow :
- The link is now available in the page :
Shwett extranet configuration
- Connect to SHWETT extranet : http://extranet.shwett.com and go to the Notifications page :
- In the page that has just been displayed, click on the Add button :
- In the popup, copy the link generated from Slack in the URL field, enter a name, choose the channel and select which types of alerts to receive via this channel. Finally click on ADD to create the notification :
